More Marley?
Did you catch last Christmas’s tear-jerker Marley and Me? Well you weren’t the only one. The family movie about a lovable pooch and his attractive pet-parents (played by Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson) made a lot of money on its debut weekend, December 25th, 2008, and throughout the rest of the holiday season.
Perhaps the movie’s success encouraged author John Grogan to sign a dealwith HarperCollins’s Children’s Books to write thirteen more kid-friendly books, all based on the lovable trouble-maker Marley. We are excited to see Marley back in action after last Christmas’s sob-fest. What are your thoughts? We hope that the books are so successful that we get another chance to catch all 22 of those precious yellow labs portray the famously rambunxious pup on the silver screen, even if that means being reduced to tears once again.
