Gentle Jesse James (Adopt-A-Dog Day 25)

jesse-james-adoptable-dog Unlike his outlaw namesake, the only thing Jesse James is likely to ever steal from you is your heart. Very gentle yet full of character and spunk, this 3-year-old terrier mix would love to crawl into your lap – no matter how large or small – and give you sweet doggie kisses.

Jesse’s Ruff Rescue: Jesse was rescued by the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation (LBWF) from a city shelter almost two years ago. At first he was very shy around people, but he really began to blossom when he met his gal pal Libby, a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix.

Favorite Toy: Jesse loves his chew toys – any ball or treat will make his tail wag!

Best Buddies: His favorite furriend is Libby. He’s muzzle over paws in love with the pooch!

Silliest Pup Moves: Jesse thinks he’s a little lap dog. He’ll attempt to sit on any lap – its size doesn’t matter!

Sweetest Pup Moments: Like the other Jesse James, this Jesse is a bandit – a kissing bandit! He loves to give sweet doggie smooches.

Puparrazi Buzz: “Jesse can be very shy at first, but if you spend time with him and have patience, he’ll be the best friend you ever had,” says Andy, a LBWF volunteer.

Pawfect Furever Home: Jesse would do great in a fun, active home, preferably one with another pooch to run around with.
