i Love Dogs Sponsors First-Ever BlogPaws Conference
We’re proud to announce that i Love Dogs has signed on as the “Chow Hound” sponsor for BlogPaws 2010!
We were thrilled to hear about the induction of the first-ever conference being held to bring pet bloggers and pet enthusiasts together to network and learn from one another. The online pet community, via our social media and blogging, has been the perfect setting for sharing our passion for animal welfare and information with other like-minded individuals. For that reason, there was no doubt in our minds that we’d be in attendance with tails wagging!
We were moved when BlogPaws co-founder Yvonne DiVita said, “Everyone is saying it wouldn’t be BlogPaws without i Love Dogs!”
And truth be told, we wouldn’t be i Love Dogs without the passionate “tweople” and cyber pets who’ve continually supported our mission to be leaders in animal advocacy. Upon hearing the invitation, we dove right in for the opportunity to give back to them by being a sponsor of BlogPaws, alongside companies like Kibbles ‘n Bits, Meow Mixx, Purina Care, PetSmart, Wellness, and Kodak.
Blogpaws will take place April 9-10 at The Westin Columbus. The conference will bring more than 250 pet bloggers together in one of Ohio’s pet friendliest cities – Columbus. With a vibrant arts district in the Short North, and a pet-loving community to boot, BlogPaws attendees and their poo
ch companions will be welcomed with open paws.
Of course, BlogPaws invites all conference-goers to bring their pet pawls along to join the fun, and i Love Dogs invites all humans and pooches to our exhibition booth to say hello, whether it’s with a handshake or with a wag! In fact, all of the conference attendees will receive i Love Dogs goodies including samples of TJ’s Health Bites, our new line of peanut-butter-flavored canine multivitamins fortified with decaffeinated green tea!
The conference will have some furrific goodies as well, in the form of featured keynote speakers Dr. Larry McDaniel of the PurinaCare Blog and Andrea Arden, star of Animal Planet’s Underdog to Wonderdog. They’ve also got wooftastic panels lined up that include “Building Your Blog Strategy,” “Pets & Pals Online – Leveraging Social Media,” and “Be the Change You Want to See.” In addition to the panels, BlogPaws invites attendees to join other bloggers during the conference’s evening receptions, where pet lovers will come together to wine, dine, and shake paws.
“Why is all this positive energy flowing from pet people?” asked DiVita on the BlogPaws blog. “I think it’s because we know how to cherish the good things in life – that would be friends, family, our pets, our kids, our twitter groups, and our blogs.”
i Love Dogs couldn’t agree more, and looks forward to meeting all of the fantastic pet bloggers attending the conference.
