A Karma Mutts & Meows Rescue Mixer

On May 20, good karma will be circulating in Culver City, Calif., when advocates of adoptable pooches and kitties will come together to raise funds for a good cause.

Karma Rescue is a beneficiary of i Love Dogs’ “Summer of Giving,” and was one of our featured rescue groups during October’s Adopt-A-Dog Month. Because of Karma Rescue’s long-standing tradition of securing homes for some of Los Angeles’ less fortunate dogs, i Love Dogs is dedicated to supporting the work that this rescue organization does.

In line with that commitment, we’d like to spread the word about an upcoming mixer that Karma Rescue will be hosting with fellow rescue heroes Molly’s Mutts & Meows. While joining forces with Molly’s Mutts & Meows, Karma Rescue hopes to raise the funds necessary to allow both groups to continue their important rescue work. Both Karma Rescue and Molly’s Mutts & Meows are non-profit 501c3 organizations (all donations are tax-deductible) dedicated to the well-being of homeless dogs, and cats in the case of Molly’s Mutts & Meows.

Karma Rescue has built quite a following of large breed and Pit Bull lovers that advocate for the safe placement of these abandoned dogs in happy, forever homes. Karma works non-stop to save at-risk dogs from high-kill Los Angeles area shelters. Many of their supporters have fostered dogs, fallen in love and become dog parents for life to these sweet pooches. The organization runs completely off of charitable contributions, which is why fundraisers such as this one makes all the difference.

The Karma Rescue and Molly’s Mutts & Meows Mixer will take place Thursday, May 20, at 6 p.m. at Joxers Daly’s Irish Pub (11168 Washington Blvd., Culver City, Calif.). Twenty percent of the night’s proceeds will go to the rescues. The night promises to be a doggone good time with good food, music, imported beer, raffle items, and gift bags donated by i Love Dogs.
