The Surf Dog Ricochet-i Love Dogs Photo Contest Announces a Winner

Ain’t no summertime blues around here. In what can only be described as “cuteness to the max,” the beach-themed photo contest co-hosted by Surf Dog Ricochet and i Love Dogs brought out the best in summertime pooch fashion and fun!

We had so many people voting that we extended the deadline to meet popular demand. Now those votes have been counted and we’re happy to announce a winner. The top dog in the Surf Dog Ricochet-i Love Dogs photo contest is … drum roll … Fenway!

Congratulations surfer dog! You are the Grand Prize Winner! Fenway will receive a 60-day supply of i Love Dogs Glucosamine and Chondroitin with Green Tea & Reishi, some water toys from Body Glove’s pet line and an i Love Dogs goodie bag that includes T.J.’s Health Bites vitamin samples and toys.

The photo contest idea started as a way to raise awareness for a topic close to Ricochet’s heart—arthritis, a condition that affects both humans and dogs. In fact, Ricochet’s mom Judy lives with arthritis and it makes her feel tired and ouchie sometimes. Ricochet wanted to help, so she walked in the “Let’s Move Together” arthritis walk on June 5. Ricochet and her pals at Leash Your Fitness raised a whopping $10,640 for arthritis!

A photo contest to greet summer—when people are traditionally most active—seemed like a natural fit to remind people how important it is to fight arthritis. Let’s make this season an endless summer for arthritis awareness!

We placed all the entries on Facebook (both Ricochet’s and iLD’s pages) and let our fans pick their favorites by clicking the “Like” buttons underneath each photo. We added all the “Likes” up and were able to determine a winner. Fenway came in tops, but we also had some other big vote-getters who deserve some Honorable Mention shout-outs.
