Mojitos & Mutts (& Meows!) Gears Up for Event 3!

i Love Dogs and Hotel Maya are getting ready to hold their third Mojitos & Mutts event and some special new surprises have been planned, including a new beneficiary. In keeping with the tradition of fellow dog lovers and their party-friendly pooches combining socializing with a good cause, this time around we’re raising money for Molly’s Mutts & Meows, a Los Angeles-area non-profit rescue group that pulls dogs and cats out of shelters to find them loving forever homes. We’re unofficially calling this a Mojitos & Mutts (& Meows!) in honor of the beneficiary.

We’re welcoming all animal lovers to join us, but attendees are encouraged to bring toys for the dogs waiting for their new homes. What’s more, if the toy is a KONG then the KONG Company will graciously match that donation!

There are other fun things, too. Guests will be treated to the talents of Bark Pet Photography, which is serving as the official event photographer. We’re also holding raffles to raise money for Molly’s Mutts & Meows and we’re excited to announce the participation of Pawsitively Wendy, which is making some very generous donations! Pawsitively Wendy, the creator of customized ladies apparel featuring dog designs made with 100 percent  CRYSTALLIZED(TM) — Swarovski Elements, has donated some beautiful items to the raffle. The company has also set up a Mojitos & Mutts-specific coupon code; when customers use the code, Pawsitively Wendy will donate 15 percent of that sale’s gross profits to Molly’s Mutts & Meows!

We’re also thrilled to announce that Pussy & Pooch, a Long Beach, Calif., boutique, is setting up a “paw bar” filled with scrumptious meaty goodies! Your dogs definitely won’t want to miss out on that! 

We’d also like to give a shout out to some of the companies that have supplied other goodies, like Pup-Peroni, FIDO Friendly, Worldwise and Petrol Fuel for Dogs. Without all of these companies’ generous support, our Mojitos & Mutts wouldn’t be nearly as successful so a very big thank you!
