Mojitos & Mutts to Benefit Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation!

i Love Dogs and Hotel Maya are gearing up for the fourth Mojitos & Mutts happy (yappy) hour and this is a really cool one. Because we’re working with the Pet Postcard Project and trying to win 500 pounds of Nutrish for the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, we decided this was the perfect opportunity to combine our efforts!

With every Mojitos & Mutts event, we sponsor an animal welfare charity that is doing outstanding work. We thought this was a great time to also bring awareness to the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation.

Actress Linda Blair started her Southern California-based rescue with dogs left homeless after Hurricane Katrina. What started out as a response to a disaster has blossomed into a first-rate foundation and we’re happy to help them out!

We’re inviting all animal lovers and party-friendly pooches to hang out, order off of a stellar drink menu and do good while having fun! All are welcome, but if possible we ask that you bring things a rescue group might need, such as food, supplies and toys. (Just like our earlier Mojitos & Mutts, the KONG Company is graciously matching all KONG toy donations!)

We’ll also be treated once again to Bark Pet Photography, who will serve as the official event photographer, and Pussy & Pooch, a Long Beach boutique retailer, will also return.

A quick shout out to some more of our pals that are helping bring this all together! We’re extremely grateful for the support of Pup-Peroni, FIDO Friendly, Worldwise, Petrol Fuel for Dogs and Chewsy Dog. Because of their friendship and generosity we’re able to provide attendees (two-legged and four-legged) with some sincerely great goodies and prizes—thank you!

Every postcard gets dogs in need one step closer to winning 500 pounds of Nutrish food.
