A Vegas Party in the Form of Pug Pup

Great news – Vegas has been adopted and is living happily ever after in his furever home! Congrats to Vegas and his loving new family.

Who wouldn’t love a dog that shares his name with one of the most superfun cities in the world—meet Vegas!

This Pug is one special little dude. His original dad was called to active duty by the United States military and that meant Vegas would likely end up in a shelter. Vegas’s original grandpa wouldn’t allow that to happen to such a nice dog, so he flew from California to Colorado to rescue this 1-year-old. Vegas was brought back to the Golden State, where he was placed in the hands of a loving Pug rescue group called Pugs ’N Pals.

He only has one eye, but that doesn’t seem to slow him down. He loves walks, wrestling with other dogs, and cuddling. In fact, he’d do really well with another active dog his age. He’s still a little on the young side, so his new forever family needs to give him some extra attention and supervision.

i Love Dogs writer Elisa Jordan met Vegas at a Pugs ’N Pals adoption event where she was donating some of the company’s supplements to Pugs in need. Vegas’s story was really special and she wants him to find a terrific family.

i Love Dogs is featuring homeless pups like Vegas throughout Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month, which is intended to raise awareness, celebrate adoptable dogs and prompt thousands of would-be dog lovers into adopting their next pooch from a local shelter or rescue organization. During October we’ll be spotlighting dogs needing furever homes, selected by the i Love Dogs team.
