Be the Change for Animals: Help Adorable Adoptables Find Homes!
October 15 is Blog the Change for Animals Day. Today bloggers will be writing to improve the lives of animals and inspiring their readers to become involved.
Since Blog the Change for Animals Day falls during October, which is Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month, i Love Dogs encourages you to “be the change” for dogs in shelters and rescues by helping us find them furever homes.
“Adopting a dog from your local shelter is a simple, yet heroic deed,” said Marie Belew Wheatley, president and CEO of the American Humane Association. i Love Dogs can help you become a hero (no cape required).
Here’s how: Throughout October, we’re spotlighting pup pals available for adoption, selected by the i Love Dogs team. Simply join our i Love Dogs Rescue Network by helping us get the word out about these homeless pooches. Post links to our stories on your website and on Twitter and Facebook, or email links to your friends and family – whatever it takes!
If you or someone in your social network becomes a hero by adopting one of our featured dogs, not only will you get a best friend for life, but if you mention that you saw the dog on our website, i Love Dogs will send you a brand new pooch starter kit!
The kit includes the following goodies:
Tennis balls
Troy Jr. (“TJ”) flying disk
A two-week supply of TJ’s Health Bites (yummy, peanut butter-flavored vitamins for dogs)
An i Love Dogs Green Tea trial pack
A discount coupon for i Love Dogs vitamins and supplements
A reusable goodie bag with our logo (because we know how much you love your new dog!)
“Trainer Tips” handouts from our in-house trainer, Eugenia Vogel
Make October the month for heroic acts – be the change for animals by helping these dogs get adopted!
