Butler is Beautiful Inside and Out

Butler is one of those amazing dogs that warms your heart. His great disposition and ability to make friends with humans, dogs, and cats alike makes him an ideal companion. The group that rescued Butler, Molly’s Mutts & Meows, reports that his foster parents are absolutely smitten with him.

Butler is looking for that perfect home. Is it your home? In addition to his superb personality, he also has retinal degeneration so he’s lost approximately 50 percent of his sight. An ophthalmologist believes he may completely go blind during his lifetime. He’s also recovering from two TPLO surgeries for torn ACLs (anterior cruciate ligaments) on his hind legs. But that’s not enough to keep this guy down. He’s recovering like a champ!

Butler would be especially happy in a home with a backyard. His hobbies include hanging out on the porch, enjoying the fresh air, and sunbathing. When not chillaxing in the yard, he enjoys the great indoors, too. He likes the sofa, watching TV shows via TiVO and hanging out in the kitchen.

We have a soft spot for the folks at Molly’s Mutts & Meows. We learned about them through Kim Rodgers of Bark Pet Photography in Southern California. Kim was nice enough to be our photographer at our TweetUp for the spcaLA back in March and she’s continued to help us out with a couple of our Mojitos & Mutts events. In fact, Mojitos & Mutts 3 benefitted Molly’s. Once we learned about them, we wanted to help. Now we want to make sure they get some exposure again.

i Love Dogs is featuring homeless pups like Butler throughout Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month, which is intended to raise awareness, celebrate adoptable dogs and prompt thousands of would-be dog lovers into adopting their next pooch from a local shelter or rescue organization. During October we’ll be spotlighting dogs needing furever homes, selected by the i Love Dogs team.

So please join the i Love Dogs Rescue Network and help us get the word out about these homeless pooches! Post links to our stories on Twitter and Facebook, email links to your friends and family – whatever it takes!

If you or someone in your social network becomes a hero by adopting one of our featured dogs, not only will you get a best friend for life, but if you mention that you saw the dog on our website, i Love Dogs will send you a brand new pooch starter kit, including toys, vitamin samples and other goodies!

To adopt Butler, submit an application on Molly’s Mutts & Meows’ adoption page. Let us know about your new dog, and we’ll send you a doggie starter kit!
