Tommy is Long Overdue for a Happy Ending

Throughout Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, i Love Dogs is spotlighting dogs needing furever homes. Last year we featured Tommy, a cutie from the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation. Tommy is still waiting for his furever home a year later. Please help us get the word out about this sweet pooch!

Tommy’s spine and ribs protruded against his hide when he first came to the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation (LBWF) nearly three years ago. Since then he has put on weight and a big doggy smile. He is ready to hit the playground to frolic with humans and dogs alike.

LBWF staff describes the 4-year-old terrier mix as a wonderful play buddy who gets along with his doggy friends. He is good on a leash and follows his buddy Scarlett all day long. This gentle guy loves to be snuggled and has come a long way since his shelter days. LBWF folks hope this sweet pooch finds a permanent home.

Ruff Rescue: Tommy was malnourished and emaciated when he was rescued from a city shelter nearly three years ago. This sweet boy quickly rehabilitated with some tender loving care and is ready for a loving, forever home.

Favorite Buddy: Tommy LOVES his human companions and his best girl dog friend Scarlett!

Favorite Toy: Tommy is gung-ho for chasing tennis balls.

Sweetest Pup Moves: Will slobber all over you with big, wet kisses!

Silliest Pup Moves: It’s hard to name one comedic stunt because Tommy is loaded with personality.

Pawperazzi Buzz: Kelli of LBWF says, “Tommy is a smart little guy and knows how to sit on command, gives lots of kisses and he just loves affection. He’s just a great all around dog!”

Pawfect Home: Tommy would do great in any fun, active home and would love another dog pal to run around with.
