In the Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland, the birds sing and flowers bloom. But just a bone’s throw away in Huntington Beach, Calif., the beautiful and enchanting Tuki, a Boston Terrier, is looking for a room of her own.
Starting today, i Love Dogs will be spotlighting a homeless dog every Friday as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches. I chose to feature Tuki because she’s a sweet little pup who’s so special that she has a tail, which is not a common trait in Bostons.
Tuki, who’s a year and a half old, has been to the dog shelter three times because her sense of adventure led her beyond her previous owners’ fences. The curious pup would therefore do best in a furever home that’s either an apartment or a house with high fences. Tuki is housebroken and doggie-door trained.
Tuki is available now for adoption through Boston Buddies.
The 4 (Paws)-1-1:
Breed: Boston Terrier
Personality: A young pup with a strong curiosity for adventure.
Pet Friendliness: Tuki likes to play rough with other, bigger dogs. She doesn’t like cats.
Kid Friendliness: She would be best in a home with children over 5 years old.
Contact: To learn more about Tuki or maybe even meet her in person, you can download an application from the Boston Buddies website. You can also email email@example.com or call 310-364-4543.
If you or someone in your social network becomes a hero by adopting one of our featured dogs, not only will you get a best friend for life, but if you mention that you saw the dog on our website, i Love Dogs will send you a brand new pooch starter kit, including toys, vitamin samples and other goodies!
