Pick a Pretty Pooch Named Pepper
Pepper Von Tulare, a purebred German Shepherd, misses her elderly pet parents, and they really miss her. Unfortunately, Pepper’s dog mom became ill, the medical bills piled up, and her pet parents ultimately lost their house. Now this dog-and-people-friendly pooch needs a new furever home.
“We rarely get a dog from a situation where they were so loved and cherished,” reports Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles, where Pepper is available for adoption. “Pepper had the best care; we have all her medical records and shot history for most of her life.”
When the grandchildren would visit and hide under a blanket, Pepper loved to go find them, and then get under the blanket with them. She also loved her pet pawl, a female Chihuahua. Pepper is housebroken, obedience trained and an excellent watch dog.
Every Friday, i Love Dogs has been spotlighting a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches. I chose Pepper after I saw her featured on “K9 Corner,” a local cable TV show. It saddened, infuriated and really scared me that such caring pet parents could lose their house and beloved dog just because one of them got sick.
“It was heartbreaking to see Pepper arriving at the noisy kennel, trying to figure out what just happened to her wonderful life,” the rescue wrote on its website. “Pepper is so ready to transfer all the love she has to give to her new family!”
Please help give this sweet dog a second chance.
