The Boxer Bunch: Meet Marsha
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! This Brady’s name was bestowed upon a very special Boxer who’s looking for a furever home. Marsha is currently in Buellton, Calif., waiting to be adopted.
Every Friday, i Love Dogs has been spotlighting a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches. I chose to feature Marsha because she’s a Boxer who happens to be blind.
While this may put her into the category of special needs, Marsha is able to come when called to and walks nicely on leash. She also appears to be potty trained. If you enjoy leisurely walks around the neighborhood or on the beach, Marsha may be the perfect companion for you.
The 4 (Paws)-1-1:
Name: Marsha
Breed: Boxer
Age: 4
Personality: An adult Boxer who’s blind, but has the sweetest personality! She is a tolerant, fair and well-adjusted dog.
Pet Friendliness: Since arriving at the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society, Marsha has proven to be a wonderful influence on the other dogs.
Residence: Marsha would be best suited to an apartment or small home due to her special need. She’s already house-trained.
Contact: To learn more about Marsha, or maybe even meet her in person, contact the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society by calling 805-688-8224 or visiting their website.
If you or someone in your social network becomes a hero by adopting one of our featured dogs, not only will you get a best friend for life, but if you mention that you saw the dog on our website, i Love Dogs will send you a brand new pooch starter kit, including toys, vitamin samples and other goodies!
