Add Cherry to the Top of Your List!

Cherry RescuedCherry, a 1-year-old Rottweiler-Shepherd mix, has been at the Hawaii Island Humane Society since February 7.

Despite the fact that Cherry lives on an island in paradise, she would love to find a home anywhere in the world as long as she can call it her own.

Every Friday, i Love Dogs has been spotlighting a homeless pooch as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find them furever homes. I chose to feature Cherry because she has such a happy disposition and  there’s a 2-for-1 adoption offer for Cherry and her brother!

If you adopt Cherry, there is an $80 adoption fee that includes spaying; microchipping; licensing; a bag of dog food; collar; first set of vaccinations; worming; and flea treatment. Plus a senior citizens discount is available!

Cherry is up to date on all shots, microchipped and spayed, so she’s ready to go home with you!

The 4 (Paws)-1-1:

  • ID: 33698
  • Name: Cherry
  • Breed: Rottweiler-Shepherd (mix)
  • Age: 1 year, 3 months
  • Personality: Cherry is a great dog! She is somewhat trained and knows how to “sit” and “shake.” She came in with her brother, who is part of a 2-for-1 adoption! She is good on her vaccinations for one year. She is already spayed and microchipped, and ready to go home today!
  • Home Life: Cherry loves to run and play and would be great with a large yard.
  • Contact: To learn more about Cherry, or meet her in person, visit the Hawaii Island Humane Society website or call 808-329-1175 and leave a voice mail message.
  • If you or someone in your social network becomes a hero by adopting one of our featured dogs, not only will you get a best friend for life, but if you mention that you saw the dog on our website, i Love Dogs will send you a brand-new pooch starter kit, including toys, vitamin samples and other goodies!
