Beautiful Billy Needs a New Home

Little Billy was found underneath a car, scared, hungry and crying for help, when he was just a baby.

Now, at the age of 4, Billy has grown into a very happy pup. This American Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer and Labrador Retriever mix loves to cuddle and play with other dogs and people.

Billy is currently being fostered through Canine & Kitty Co-op in Long Beach, Calif. The organization is a coalition of individual rescuers who come together to find new homes for both dogs and cats.

His foster mom says Billy is “the perfect dog!” He has a clean health record from the vet and walks great on a leash.

Every Friday, i Love Dogs spotlights a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches.

I chose Billy because of his sweet disposition, despite the fact that he was found underneath a car. The i Love Dogs breed spotlight just happens to be shining on the Labrador Retriever this month, so why not bring one of these lovable pooches into your home?
