Noodles, Kelly Osbourne’s Pomeranian Puppy, Has Died

Earlier this year, we reported that Kelly Osbourne had adopted a female Pomeranian puppy named Noodles. We are sad to report that little Noodles has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

According to peoplepets.com, Osbourne tweeted on Tuesday that Noodles had become very ill and was having seizures.

“My poor baby girl Noodles is sick. She had a seizure and they don’t know why. I’m taking her to see a specialist two hours away for a brain scan,” Osbourne wrote.

Noodles was taken to the vet and examined, but the prognosis wasn’t good – the pup had a brain defect that caused swelling and would need to be put down.

On Wednesday, Osbourne tweeted, “Noodles is not going to make it. She was born with a brain defect and I have to put her to sleep today. I’m devastated. I just can’t believe it.”

The loss hit Osbourne pretty hard, and comes just a year after another one of her dogs, Woody, was killed by a coyote.

Osbourne still has her male Pomeranian, Sid, and her Doberman, Blue, to keep her company.

We are truly sorry for Osbourne’s loss. When she’s ready for a new furfriend, we know a lot of wonderful rescue groups and shelters that would be delighted to help her find one.
