Griffin the Schnauzer Needs a Home!

male schnauzer

Griffin

Griffin, aka “Griff,” a handsome young Schnauzer, is in need of a forever home. This gentle-hearted pup was rescued from a high-kill shelter where he came in as a stray.

Griff was on the streets until a shelter found him, but when they scanned his microchip, his owner never came to reclaim him. Unclaimed, and at a shelter that has a high-kill rate, Griff nearly meet an untimely ending. Thankfully, the Miniature Schnauzers & Friends Rescue - a nonprofit pet rescue organization in the Los Angeles area, was able to take Griff under their wing.

Griff is a sweet boy that gets along with everyone. He’s only 2 years old and has super soft white fur. He has natural ears and a docked tail, but he’s on the smaller side, weighing about 15 pounds.

Every Monday, i Love Dogs spotlights a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches.

I chose to spotlight Griffin because it was sad to hear how this handsome pup wasn’t reclaimed by his owner. He’s a young dog, and I would hate to see his life taken from him before he gets a chance to be in a loving home. I also chose him because this month’s breed spotlight is the Schnauzer.
