Breakfast (and Lunch and Dinner) at Tiffany’s

Although she looks (and acts) just like a puppy, Tiffany is about 10 years old. This 6-pound, purebred Toy Poodle loves to go on walks and snuggle up on the couch.

Florida Poodle Rescue describes the little cutie pie as being “brave and adventuresome in spite of being blind in one eye from a cataract. She gets around just fine, is completely housetrained, and can find you anywhere in the house. She was shaved down because of matts, but when her hair grows back in she will be stunning.”

Every Monday, i Love Dogs spotlights a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches.

I chose Tiffany for three reasons: i Love Dogs is spotlighting Poodles this month; November is also Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month; and, most of all, because I once was the dog mom of a Poodle mix with cataracts in both eyes. It breaks my heart that someone may have given Tiffany up just because they didn’t want to deal with her eye issue. My dog, Ginger, adjusted just fine to her vision loss, and it sounds like Tiffany has done the same. I hope someone gives this sweet pooch a second chance.
