Adoptable Super-Dog Jake Needs a Hero!

Say hello to a super dog! Jake is a Pointer-Doberman-Labrador Retriever mix who’s waiting for a super-hero pet parent to come save him.

Jake is 3 1/2 years old and an indoor protection dog whose mission in life is to protect and serve. He’s currently with The Nature Network dog rescue in Los Angeles. The rescue thinks Jake would make a great bodyguard or protector. While Jake may be a loyal guard dog, the rescue doesn’t think he’ll make a good family pet since he’s not too trusting of strangers or other dogs.

Every Monday, i Love Dogs spotlights a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches.

I chose Jake because he’s a local dog who’s looking for a super pawsome pet parent. Not to mention, i Love Dogs’ December breed spotlight is on Dobermans!

Jake would ideally like to meet someone energetic, outdoorsy and athletic who wants him as their super-dog sidekick.
