Bo is Sniffing Out a Furever Home
Meet Bo, a goofy and friendly Redbone Coonhound ready for his furever home in Morgantown, W.V.
According to Bo’s Petfinder.com profile by Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia, the 2-year-old, 50-pound pooch has a lot of energy and loves to sniff things (he is a scent hound, after all). Bo loves his kennel mate, Repo, a Tree Walker Coonhound, and seems to get along with other dogs.
Every Monday, i Love Dogs spotlights a homeless dog as part of our i Love Dogs Rescue Network effort to find furever homes for these pooches.
I chose Bo because, after talking to members of Coonhound Companions recently, I found out that shelters in the South are filled with these dogs. People believe the popular misconception that Coonhounds are loud, smelly and don’t make great house pets. But most Coonie pet parents will probably tell you quite a different story. While these dogs can be “all nose” outdoors, they usually become calm (and very handsome) couch potatoes indoors.
Please help the i Love Dogs Rescue Network spread the word that Bo is ready for a loving furever home.
