Betty Endorses Barack

Although she’s bipartisan and prefers keeping her political views private, for the first time ever, animal lover Betty White has publicly endorsed a presidential candidate: Barack Obama.

The 90-year-old actress told the Associated Press (AP) on Saturday that she “very, very much favors” Obama and “how he represents us.”

White did not mention if she was swayed by the fact that Bo Obama rides inside while Republican candidate Mitt Romney found nothing wrong with strapping his dog to the car roof.

Last Thursday the Obama campaign raised nearly $15 million at a fundraising dinner held at the home of another dog-loving celebrity, George Clooney.
