HOLLYWOOF REPORTER: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Adopt Another Dog

Kristen Stewart and Robert PattinsonUPDATE: Robert Pattinson will appear on “Ellen” today to reveal details about Bear’s adoption. (Watch a clip here.) Kristen Stewart also appeared on “Live With Kelly and Michael” this week and dished to co-host Kelly Ripa that she and Pattinson have already rescued their new dog named Bernie. Stewart says she’s obsessed with rescue dogs and Bernie gets along just fine with Bear.

The last time “Twilight” couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson made Hollywoof news, they were locked in a bitter custody battle over their dog Bear, after allegations came out of Stewart cheating on Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders. The couple have since made their peace and are back together looking for yet another dog.

According to Teddy Hilton, the couple now wants to find a companion for Bear, the dog Pattinson adopted from a high-kill shelter in Louisiana. Sources close to the couple say the “Twilight” stars want to search a few high-kill shelters and Petfinder.com to find a dog that will get along with Bear. The couple plan to spend Thanksgiving together, after the release of their highly-anticipated film, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part Two.”

The source also said the couple ideally wants to have the dog before the holidays. While they don’t seem to have a preference on breed, the couple do want their new addition to be a female dog.

What do you think, Hollywoofers? Is the couple ready for another dog so soon after Stewart’s cheating scandal?  Leave us a comment or tweet us @ilovedogsinc.
