Bearded Collies, often lovingly called “Beardies,” are jovial dogs with lots of energy and very high-maintenance coats.

Belgian Sheepdogs are affectionate and friendly, playful and alert, but also independent and intense.

Originally used as farm dogs in Switzerland, hardy Bernese Mountain Dogs can withstand cold weather, and are very strong and agile for their size.

You may recognize these little white powder puffs with legs as clown dogs from the circus. Bichon Frise are a lively breed and love being part of the family.

The workaholic of the dog world, the Border Collie is the world’s premier sheep herder, prized for its intelligence, extraordinary instinct and working ability. Medium-sized and athletic, the breed controls stock with stalking movement and an intense gaze known as “eye.” The Border Collie coat can be rough or smooth and includes any color in bi-color, tri-color, merle, sable, or solid patterns.

Also known as the Russian Wolfhound, Borzoi are refined, fast and independent dogs.

The Boston Terrier is the official state dog of Massachusetts, but these dogs are loved all over the world for their affectionate, gentle nature.
