LUCKY is our sixth featured dog in i Love Dogs‘ October campaign to find furever homes for 31 dogs. A lap-crawling love bug who adores her human friends, this sweet and gentle 8-year-old terrier/whippet mix has a whole lotta love left to give.
This morning we learned that the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation, an Acton, CA rescue serving mostly pit bulls, is in danger of receiving an evacuation order due to a fire raging nearby. Dubbed the Station Fire, the blaze covers 85,000 acres, has destroyed 21 homes and taken the lives of two firefighters.
