A family’s beloved pet who became an international poster dog against breed-specific legislation was killed today per orders from the Belfast City Council.

Protests have been held in Belfast and New York City in response to news that pet dog Lennox may be euthanized this week.

Cesar Millan and other noted animal experts are expressing their disappointment with a Northern Ireland court’s decision not to spare the life of a family pet.

The AVMA, USPS and Victorial Stilwell are campaigning to reduce the number of people bitten by dogs each year.
