Stephanie Krol, i Love Dogs’ new guest blogger introduces herself and talks about National Homeless Animal Awareness Day.

This morning we learned that the Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation, an Acton, CA rescue serving mostly pit bulls, is in danger of receiving an evacuation order due to a fire raging nearby. Dubbed the Station Fire, the blaze covers 85,000 acres, has destroyed 21 homes and taken the lives of two firefighters.
